Landscape Gardener Cotswolds

The Process

The first stage of the process is to visit you to discuss your garden or landscaping project. Our first consultation is always free if within a forty mile radius of Cheltenham. It is a good idea to look through magazines or browse the internet to get an idea of styles, materials or themes you like. Garden design is most effective when as much information about your personal taste is provided. As our gardens are bespoke, we tend to build to your budget, so an idea of how much you want to spend is always useful, but not essential.

The next step is to give a quotation for the design costs, if it is a straightforward project a full quotation may be available at this point. For most sites a full survey will be necessary to ascertain changes of level, services, aspects and existing features. If the design fees are agreed a concept plan can be created, this is to give an idea of materials, style and the feel of the garden. This process is to really make sure you are happy with our vision for your garden. This also gives you the opportunity to change anything before the master plan is created.

The master plan covers all the final detailing of the build. Depending on the size of the project this may include, planting plan, irrigation plan, 3D drawings, construction drawings and lighting design to name just a few.
